The process of a vehicle wrap is extensive and needs some planning ahead of time. To give you an insight in the process we have listed the most important steps towards a successful vehicle wrap below.
Bring Your Ideas To Life
The first step in this process will be fully dedicated to you and the design of your vehicle wrap. Our graphic designer is specialized in vehicle wraps and can either design your vehicle wrap from scratch or we can discuss your ideas and bring them to life.
Our key target is to achieve your objective for your vehicle wrap, which can be either for marketing and advertising purpose or to enhance the design of your vehicle. After completing the design we recommend to review the proof carefully before proceeding to the next steps.
Vehicle Inspection
The second step in this process is the inspection of the vehicle. The vehicle inspection is important in order to deliver a satisfactory end product. We inspect the vehicle on paint problems, cracks, chips, scratches bumps, dents and cleaning issues.
Prior to the installation, the vehicle has to be cleaned properly and should be free of any wax. If you are having a new vehicle and planning a vehicle wrap it’s recommended not to wax the vehicle, as this has to be removed prior to applying the vinyl.
The last part of this step is to reconfirm the exact measurements of the vehicle to avoid challenges during the next steps.
Production
The third step in this process is the actual production of the vehicle wrap. Considering the expected lifetime and purpose of your wrap we will propose different materials and select the most suitable for you. The different options of vinyl range from a 2 to 9 years lifetime.
The design will be printed on our HP Latex 360 printer, using water-based inks which is more durable and of higher quality compared to any other printer on the market.
Laminating all prints will be the last part of the production process. Herewith we ensure maximum longevity and protect the wrap from color fading and small damages.
Installation
The fourth and last step in this process is the installation of the vehicle wrap. Our professional installers will install the wrap with care and detail for optimal results.
After installation of the vehicle wrap the vehicle will stay in our facility for one more day to observe any possible reactions of the vinyl. After a final quality check the vehicle is ready for the road!
Since most vehicle wraps are used for commercial purposes it’s important to plan the installation ahead of time in order for it not to affect your business. From all the steps above the actual vehicle is only required for the installation process. Depending on the size and the condition of the vehicle, it will take approximately 3 to 4 days for a professional install.
